TNPSC Recruitment 2026 for 821 Group II & IIA Services Posts

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced Recruitment 2026 for 821 Group II and Group IIA Services vacancies through the Combined Civil Services Examination-II under Notification No. 07/2026. The recruitment includes 41 Group II and 780 Group IIA vacancies covering Assistant Inspector, Deputy Commercial Tax Officer, Junior Employment Officer, Probation Officer, Sub Registrar Grade-II, Jailor, Special Assistant, Special Branch Assistant, Assistant Section Officer, Senior Revenue Inspector, Assistant, Accountant, Executive Officer and various other administrative posts. A Degree from a recognized university is required for most positions, while certain posts require specialized qualifications such as B.L., MCA, IT or Computer Science. Online applications are accepted from 11 August to 9 September 2026, and the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for 1 November 2026 across Tamil Nadu.

Complete One Time Registration (OTR) if not already registered. A valid OTR is mandatory for applying.
Log in using the registered credentials and select the Combined Civil Services Examination-II for Group II and IIA Services under Notification No. 07/2026.
Select the applicable posts and fill in the online application with the required information.
Upload the prescribed photograph, signature and other required documents.
Pay the applicable examination fee online unless eligible for an exemption.
Review all entries carefully and submit the application on or before 9 September 2026 by 11:59 PM.
Save or print the submitted application for future reference.
Candidates requiring corrections can use the application correction window from 13 to 15 September 2026.
Eligible applicants should prepare for the Preliminary Examination scheduled for 1 November 2026.
