Tamil Nadu PWD Recruitment 2026 for 760 Apprentice Posts

The Public Works Department (PWD), Tamil Nadu has released the Tamil Nadu PWD Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification for 760 apprentice vacancies under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act, 1973. The recruitment is open to eligible candidates from Tamil Nadu who have completed Graduate, Diploma, or Non-Engineering Graduate courses in 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025. The apprenticeship training will be conducted for the 2026-27 session across various disciplines, including Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Architecture, and Non-Engineering streams. Eligible candidates can apply online through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal until 25 June 2026.

Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and complete student registration if you are a new user.
Generate your 12-digit enrollment number after successful registration.
Log in using your registered email ID and password.
Navigate to the “Apply against advertised vacancies” section.
Search for “PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TAMILNADU” in the apprenticeship listings.
Select the relevant apprenticeship category and verify your eligibility details.
Upload the required documents, including the provisional certificate and consolidated marksheet.
Ensure that the percentage of marks entered in the portal matches your academic records.
Submit the application form and confirm that the application status shows as “Applied”.
