DRDO Recruitment 2026 for Junior Research Fellowship Post

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced recruitment for 01 Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) post at DRDO Young Scientists Laboratory – Cognitive Technology (DYSL-CT), Chennai. This opportunity is open for candidates in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Science with valid GATE or NET qualification or relevant M.E/M.Tech degree. The fellowship offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000 plus HRA and selection will be based on interview without any written examination. Eligible candidates must submit their application in offline mode within 20 days from publication, with the last date approximately 03 March 2026.

1. Visit the official website www.drdo.gov.in.
2. Go to the “What’s New” section and download the JRF application form for DYSL-CT.
3. Fill in the application form carefully with correct personal and educational details.
4. Attach self-attested copies of educational certificates, GATE/NET scorecard, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other required documents.
5. Superscribe the envelope with “Application for JRF” on the top left corner.
6. Send the completed application via Registered Post or Speed Post to:

   E-Block, 5th Floor, IITM Research Park,
   Taramani, Chennai – 600 113.
7. Additionally, send a soft copy of the filled application to jrf.dyct@drdo.gov.in.
